Class Description

This highly interactive course teaches students the situational awareness necessary to recognize warning signs and react quickly in an active shooter situation; techniques on how to make an escape, evade or even attack the shooter including ways to disarm them; strategies for working together to defend a room; and how to provide life-saving medical assistance including effectively applying direct pressure and tourniquets to control life-threatening bleeding and save lives when every second counts. This course is important for everyone to take and vital for students. Ages 18 and over.
